Dental Practice Branding & Rebranding Services
Specializing in branding new dental practices, and rebranding after an acquisition or practice name change.
Effective branding for a dental practice creates a clear and consistent identity through your name, logo, messaging, and visual presentation so patients recognize and trust your practice.
Why is Branding Important?
Whether you consider it to be fair or not, first impressions matter, people make snap judgments every day. If you have a lackluster logo or an unclear brand, then you may not capture the attention of people looking for a dentist in your area. If your brand doesn't communicate who you are and what you do, potential patients will keep looking
The benefits of branding include improved name recognition, practice growth, and increased profits.

Why Rebrand Your Dental Practice?
If any of these things are true, then rebranding can help you align your beliefs and vision with your marketing and help you to grow your practice.

Our Dental Branding & Rebranding Explained
Brand Research & Discovery
The first step is a complete review of your current branding and its success or lack thereof. Our analysis will include an examination of your competitors’ branding as well as research on your treatment specialties and target audience.
We’ll use what we learn to collaborate with you to fine-tune your brand and messaging. Everything that happens in this stage will inform the later stages of your rebranding.
Design Logo and Brand Assets
Visual branding plays a crucial role in dental practice branding. In this stage of rebranding, we will take the information gathered in the research phase and apply what we’ve learned to design a compelling new logo and other marketing materials and swag to be used in defining and marketing your practice.
Our designers strive to go beyond the obvious to create logos that are compelling and memorable. Too many dental practices rely on a cartoon tooth as a logo, and while we can’t deny that some of those logos may have served a purpose, we believe that more nuance and finesse are needed if you want your dental practice to stand out.
Design & Develop Website
The third phase of rebranding is when we design and develop your dental website. If your branding is your calling card, your website is your home office. It’s the place most prospective patients will visit when they’re looking for a local dental practice and it must do a compelling job of solidifying your online presence and introducing visitors to your practice.
In addition to the visual appearance of your website, we focus on providing an intuitive user design that makes your website simple to navigate while explaining your brand and the benefits of choosing your practice over others in your area.
Brand Launching & Ongoing Marketing
The last step is to launch your new website and brand to reintroduce your practice to the world. A well-timed and orchestrated rebranding can make a big splash, allowing you to impress your current patients and attract new ones at the same time.
It’s important to have a coordinated marketing strategy to go with your rebranding, so your launch should include the initiation of innovative marketing campaigns to put your new brand into action.

Dental Practice Rebranding Success Stories
The Problem:
A practice with a single dentist took on a new partner and knew they needed to rebrand. They felt that their existing brand and dental marketing strategy would not support a larger practice with two dentists. They had been working with another agency and were not satisfied with the service they were receiving or the results of their marketing. They wanted someone to partner with them to create a new and compelling brand.
Our Rebranding Work:
- In-depth research to understand both the practice’s existing brand as well as its plans.
- Creation of a new and memorable logo and other visual assets.
- A complete website redesign with the priority being an improved user experience.
- An SEO-friendly website structure to ensure that Google and other search engines can properly crawl and index the site, to make it easy for prospective patients to find them.
- New industry-relevant business directory listings, press releases, and authoritative backlinks to drive traffic to their site.
The Results:

911
New leads per month
The Problem:
Two major issues existed. This dentist was using a national company to market his dental practice and was getting no discernible results. He didn’t know what they were doing, incoming leads weren’t tracked, and rankings for his main keywords were nowhere to be found. The other half of the equation was that he purchased this practice and was considering a rebrand, but wasn’t sure how that would impact his practice in the long-term. He also didn’t know how to go about it if he decided to do it.
Our Rebranding Work:
- Created a new, easily recognizable dental practice name.
- Website coding for maximum search engine exposure.
- We researched their citations and identified a handful of high-authority citations that their competition had and obtained them for our client.
- We claimed, fixed, and optimized their local listings to help improve their visibility and beat out their competitors.
- We subscribed to an SEO service to push their updated information out to the data aggregators.
- We built industry-relevant and authoritative backlinks.
- Installed call tracking and analytics software to measure results.
The Results:
The client now ranks in the top 3 for all his major keywords and is getting 315 leads per month from the internet. A stark contrast to his previous 5-10 before we started working together.
We would love the opportunity to talk to you about your dental practice branding or rebranding because we know we can deliver better results than our competitors.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Who should I hire to rebrand my dental practice?
Work with an agency that specializes in dental marketing, not a general design firm that happens to take on healthcare clients. Your rebrand needs to speak to patients, not just look good on a mood board. A dental marketing agency already understands your audience, your competitive landscape, and how your brand has to perform across your website, signage, social profiles, and patient communications. You won’t spend half the project educating them on your industry.
When is the right time to rebrand a dental practice?
If your brand isn’t doing its job, it’s time. That could mean you’ve acquired or merged with another practice, your visual identity looks dated compared to what patients see from competitors, or your services have changed, and your brand no longer reflects that. It could also be simpler: if patients can’t easily describe what makes your practice different, your brand isn’t communicating clearly enough. Any of those is a good reason to take a hard look at rebranding.
How much does it cost to rebrand a dental practice?
It depends on what’s included. A logo refresh and updated brand guidelines are a very different scope from a full rebrand that includes a new website, signage templates, and patient-facing materials. Most dental practice rebrands handled end-to-end by an agency range from $5,000-$50,000 or more. While we can’t give you an exact answer without knowing your needs, this is a good estimate.
How long does dental practice rebranding take?
A focused rebrand covering your logo, color palette, typography, and brand guidelines typically takes 4 to 8 weeks. If a new website is part of the project, expect 10 to 16 weeks from start to launch. The faster your team can review and make decisions, the faster your rebrand gets done. If you are looking at other aspects of a rebrand such as your signage, updating collateral, clothing, stationary, etc, then a good estimate is 6+ months. Some of the timeframes could be out of your control (such as lead time for new signage).
Will rebranding confuse or push away my existing patients?
Not if it’s handled properly. Your existing patients chose your practice for the care they receive, and a new logo won’t change that. What matters is how you communicate the change. Give patients a heads up before the new brand goes live, frame it as a step forward for the practice, and make the transition feel intentional rather than abrupt. A good agency builds that rollout plan into the project from the beginning.
What is the difference between a logo refresh and a full rebrand?
A logo refresh modernizes what you already have, updating the font, simplifying the mark, or adjusting the colors while keeping the core identity intact. A full rebrand is a deeper process that looks at your positioning, messaging, and entire visual identity system from the ground up. If your brand direction is solid but the execution feels dated, a refresh is usually the right move. If your practice has fundamentally changed or your brand is actively hurting you, a full rebrand is worth the investment.
